Upon arriving at Appart'City Lyon Part Dieu, I was pleasantly surprised by its proximal location to the Metro station, allowing for easy access to all parts of the city. For a traveler unfamiliar with Lyon, like myself, this convenience was a game-changer. The reception staff excelled in their assistance, setting a positive tone for my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with necessary amenities, although the decor was slightly outdated.My lodging experience was further enhanced by the unexpected room upgrade, providing an exceptionally comfortable space to work and rest. Despite the absence of air conditioning in my room, opening the windows sufficed during the warm weather. The presence of a kitchenette added flexibility to my stay, although the dated decor was a minor drawback.While the initial interaction with the staff could have been more welcoming, the service improved over time. The hotel's value proposition lies in its practicality, with essentials like a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi ensuring a comfortable stay.
